Magical winter diversity

The Nordic Centre of Monte Pana is just a few steps from the Hotel Cendevaves. Several newly designed modern cross-country trails with challenging climbs and fast descents have pleasant courses for hobby cross-country skiers and give discerning cross-country skiers the opportunity to prepare for races. Those who would prefer to head to the Alpe di Siusi and cross-country ski on the 60 km of trails there, can easily do this by bus. The bus stop is just a few metres away from the Hotel Cendevaves.

On a snowshoe or winter hike on the Monte Pana or the Alpe di Suisi, I tramp through snow-covered forests, past isolated Alpine dairies and mountain huts and feel the all-encompassing peace. A sunrise tour followed by breakfast on the sun terrace or a full moon tour with host Christian Stuffer and head chef Francesco is truly spectacular.

You can also climb mountains on skis. The area around the Hotel Cendevaves located in the heart of the famous Dolomites is a true Eldorado for ski tourers. There are endless possibilities for me to practise this sport that is so in harmony with nature. For those who prefer ski touring with a guide, there are alpine schools in Val Gardena that offer guided ski tours.
